Red, White, & BOOM! A Typhoon Texas Signature Event

Visit Typhoon Texas for our Salute to Heroes this Fourth of July weekend for our annual Red, White, & BOOM Festival - A Typhoon Texas Signature Event.



Join us and play all day with carnival theme fun activities, live entertainment, and family-friendly contests.


Come back for round two, stay and play! We have all the same activities as Friday, but you don't want to miss out on riding a hot air balloon, it's the best spot to view the park from the sky! Pull up a tube and dive into the wave pool to finish the evening with our spectacular firework show!


End the fabulous weekend guaranteed to blow the family away. Join us in Saluting our Heroes. As our weekend grand finale, and in partnership with the City of Pflugerville, this is a family fun-filled day you are all going to love. Help us stand tall, welcome our local elected officials for a momentous celebration of all our heroes! This firework show will be the longest one yet!

Can I park in Typhoon Texas' lot?

Typhoon Texas' parking lot will be reserved for Typhoon Texas Guests. Proof of admission will be required to enter the parking lot for that day.

Where is the best location to view the fireworks?

There is no better spot to view the fireworks show than inside Typhoon Texas. All Guests will have the best seat in the house for the fireworks show. The fireworks will be launched just south of the park.

If I am not a Guest at Typhoon Texas that day, where can I park?

You may park at Stone Hill Shopping Center, Hendrickson High School, or Costco. Please note that Typhoon Texas is not responsible for the parking capacity limitations, security, or other parking details.

Will I need reservations to enter Typhoon Texas?

No reservations will be required to visit Typhoon Texas. You will need a valid ticket or Season Pass to enjoy the park.

How can I listen along to the fireworks on July 4th?

You can hear the music on 96.7 KHFI Kiss FM.

How long is the fireworks shows?

Our spectacular show will be around 20 minutes long and begin at 9:30pm.

Will outside food and beverage be allowed into Typhoon Texas?

No outside food and beverage will be allowed into Typhoon Texas. One factory-sealed water bottle per Guest will be allowed in to the facility.

If I do not plan on riding any attractions while at Typhoon Texas, will I still need a ticket?

Yes, everyone will be required to have a valid 2021 ticket or season pass to enter. We have tons of amazing entertainment, good food, and a full bar for our Guests who prefer to not ride the rides. Plus, a couple rounds around the Lazy-T River are a must!

Will the attractions be open during the fireworks show?

Yes, attractions will be open during the fireworks show, however, some attractions may be closed due to the nature of the fireworks spectacular.

Can I reserve a seat for the fireworks show?

Chairs, loungers, and tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Private are available for reservation and will be yours for the day. Visit to reserve yours today. Do not wait, as we anticipate to sell-out for this three-day festival.

May I re-enter the facility if I choose to leave?

Re-Entry may be limited during our three-day festival as to not exceed our capacity limitations.

May I ride in the Hot Air Balloon?

Note: Due to the increased likelihood of inclement weather, Hot Air Balloon Rides by Austin Aeronauts will not be able to participate in the 2021 Red, White, & BOOM Festival. For the safety of Guests, partner vendors, and Team Members, we appreciate understanding with this unfortunate but necessary decision.

We will have a tethered hot air balloon ride by Austin Aeronauts hovering up to 30 feet above the ground. This is an exclusive experience for Typhoon Texas Season Pass holders. Hot air balloon rides are available Saturday only for the first 100 Season Pass holders who sign-up. Sign-up will take place after entry in the Park. This is first-come, first-serve. Rides will take place from 5:30pm - 8:30pm and are weather permitting.
